Marty & Perry are childhood friends from the Bronx who began working together as vendors in Yankee Stadium. They then began their business partnership in 1980, opening a sporting goods store that grew into a chain by the 1990s in Connecticut. They then moved to Florida and opened Bronx Luggage in 1996 in the Festival Flea Market, where they were for almost 30 years. After the market closed in May of 2025, they have now moved to The Promenade at Coconut Creek. They attribute their successes to hard work, treating customers the way they would like to be treated themselves, and their "New York" way of doing business. They always guarantee the lowest price anywhere, including online shopping.
