Accounts Payable Bookkeeper
Location: Remote (Philippines or Asia)
Employment Type: Full-Time Contractor
Compensation: $5 - $8 USD per hour

### Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Bookkeeper with experience in the real estate or mortgage lending industry to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage all aspects of the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and vendor payments, while maintaining financial records. The ideal candidate will be an essential support to the financial team, helping to foster strong relationships with our valued vendors.

### Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing:
- Review, code, and process invoices for payment.
- Verify accuracy and compliance with company policies and contractual agreements.


- Vendor Management:
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors and promptly resolve payment discrepancies.
- Prepare and manage vendor statements and payment schedules.

- Financial Record Keeping:
- Keep accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Assist with month-end closing processes and reconciliation of accounts payable.

- Reporting & Compliance:
- Generate reports related to accounts payable activities and outstanding liabilities.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.

### Summary:
- Accurately process invoices and payment requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain vendor records and manage positive relationships.
- Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies.
- Prepare weekly and monthly accounts payable reports.

### Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Bookkeeper in the real estate or mortgage lending sector.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
- Proficient in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is essential.
