Job Description
Seeking freelance, contract, architect (license preferred but not required) with experience in project design but mostly with working drawing production and detailing. Must be proficient in Autodesk Revit. As an independent contractor, must provide own computer and software and liability insurance. Looking for between 10 - 20 hours per week. Workload and hours may vary. Remote work is fine with a weekly in-person or remote project coordination meeting. Specification writing and Submittal review experience desired. Proficiency with the suite of Adobe products (In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop) beneficial, but not required. Rendering skills beneficial, but not required. The ability to work efficiently and independently is required. Understanding of building codes and zoning required. Level of compensation to be negotiated based on level of experience.
Projects will mostly involve high-end residential design (large additions and custom homes) as well as limited commercial fit-out projects (office and restaurant/brewery).
