Description POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: Produce and Revise precise detailed AutoCAD models, BOM's and other required engineering documentations. This includes modeling and designing frames and fabricated merchandise by correctly calculating dimensions based on specifications taken from the client. A full set of build drawings will include detailed 3D rendering of the project, fully dimensioned and assembly instructions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Communicate with the Fabrication Manager/Foreman and Production Managers on the scope of projects including design details, dimensioning, assemblies along with material stock and procurement. Discuss any obstacles pertaining to client specifications with Production Manager.
- Must be able to draw in 3D in AutoCAD
- Provide updates on the status of Work Orders
- Track multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate design issues to Sales department
- Maintain standard operating procedures in CAD Department
- Maintain protocols for secured graphic projects
- Create Assembly drawings
- Create Client Rendering drawings
- Setup Job Path Cutting files for Digital department when needed
- Check that all information regarding Work Order is correct before accepting the job, perform AutoCAD duties perfectly and check that all information's are correct regarding Work Order/renderings before giving the job to the next stage of Production

- Basics of industrial Safety, health and environmental. Avoid injuries and must ask for help from other suitable employees when lifting heavy objects over 50 lbs. and/or larger dimensions in assess of 47 inches or more. Using proper lifting techniques and proper lifting equipment.
SOFTWARE REQUIRMENT: AutoCAD, Solid Works, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Adobe Photoshop/illustrator (preferable but not required)
Pay Range $25.00 Hourly to $30.00 Hourly
