Kitchen Tune-Up of Monterey Bay is seeking a wood restoration specialist/artist to work part time on kitchen cabinet projects in the Monterey, Santa Cruz and Salinas areas. Our unique process transforms dingy, worn cabinetry to look almost new again. If you enjoy creativity, have an eye for color matching, desire a flexible schedule, and are seeking a fun opportunity with excellent pay, consider joining us!

Duties & Responsibilities

• Cabinet wood restoration using a well-defined process consisting of wood cleaning, repair and color matching techniques.
• Consistent on-time job arrival in appropriate work clothing
• Thorough job prep and daily clean-up (respect clients home like it was your own)
• Communication to project manager with daily progress updates and pictures

Additional Requirements

• Stellar work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in a job well done
• Ability to interact with customers on a professional, friendly level
• Ability to color-match (cannot be color blind)

Desirable/Optional Experience

• Wood finishing and painting
