Job Title: Logistics and Data Center Logistics Specialist
Location: Onsite - Santa Clara, CA
Duration: 6 months
Key Responsibilities:
We are now looking for a Lab & Data Center Logistics Specialist to support our client s labs and Data Centers. This individual will support a team of engineers that help build and develop our products. This role will maintain inventory, do shipping, logistics activities. The primary responsibility is to provide logistics and inventory support to our engineering teams during development to ensure outstanding quality products may be released to the market and delight our customers so that AI scientists and datacenter operators can achieve their professional aspirations using our client s technology. The new logistics team member will work independently to complete daily tasks according to priorities and should be comfortable working in the lab and data center environment.
What the Logistics Specialist will be doing:
Supporting inventory management, shipping, and receiving, staging area, e-waste and documentation Collaborate with Logistics Specialists, Lab Technicians, Leads, Engineering staff, Management, and others Support local and regional teams with logistics related requests and requirements Conduct inventory audits You will be expected to lift equipment of up to 50 pounds Be comfortable working independently in storage rooms Perform monthly and quarterly audits and cleanup of labs and data centers Perform e-waste storage and disposal standards within the standards Maintain and organize the lab equipment for efficiency and continuously look for ways to improve lab processes.
What We Need to See:
High School or equivalent with 5 years of experience Min 2 years of experience in inventory management and logistics of IT Organization
2+ years experience working in a lab or data center tracking and storing
2+ inventory
Experience with Asset Management & Control and audit Experience using ITSM tool Knowledge of IT applications preferably with Slack, Teams, and Microsoft Office Products Experience working with a manual pallet jack and other material handling equipment Detail oriented and well organized, Self-starter and with ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment Ability to work within cross-functional teams Good attention to detail, as well as clear written and verbal communications.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience in logistics and inventory management within Lab and/or data Center Experience with e-waste processes and handling Experience using asset management tools.
Experience working with Shipping and Receiving departments
