Art and Art History seeks candidates for adjunct positions teaching in the studio arts in
Fall 2024 .
Adjunct positions needed for the fall include: ● Photography 1 (Lightroom, Photoshop)● Documentary Photo and Video (Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere)● 3D (wood, cardboard, plaster)● Drawing (traditional and digital)● 4D (Adobe Premiere and Aftereffects)● Visual Thinking (a lecture/studio course) Introduction to Visual Theory and Cultural StudiesMinimum qualifications:● MFA in Visual Art● A proven record of two years of successful college-level teaching. Candidate and student work examples are required.● Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including timely email correspondence.Teaching Responsibilities:The Fall 2024 semester contract runs from August 24th - December 14th, with in-person instruction on TCNJ’s campus (Ewing, NJ). Duties include preparing course(s) based on the existing departmental syllabus; providing engaging, enthusiastic, and student-centered teaching to undergraduate learners; maintaining high academic standards with appropriately rigorous content; using the learning management system, Canvas, to support instruction; and administering final exams during the College’s exam period.
