Become a key player as an Income Tax Manager: The Tax Manager will provide tax planning and consulting for clients across industries such as SaaS, Fintech, Consumer, etc. Collaborate with tax specialists and teams at the company to identify risks, develop strategies, and ensure tax compliance. Ideal for those seeking flexibility, autonomy, and diverse challenges.
Here's how you'll make an impact on the team: - Prepare, review, and file federal and multistate Corporate tax returns promptly and accurately.
- Efficiently handle multiple engagements, delivering high-quality results within deadlines.
- Conduct thorough reviews of returns and conduct research on intricate tax matters.
- Lead projects to ensure timely, within-budget, and scope-compliant deliverables of the highest quality.
- Provide effective management, mentoring, and training to direct reports.
- Cultivate client relationships and network with potential new businesses through continuous communication.
- Offer expert consultation to clients on tax planning, income tax matters, and compliance.
Here's what you'll need to be successful in this role: - Active CPA or Enrolled Agent credential required
- Minimum of 5 years of income tax experience in a public accounting firm
- Proficiency in Tax Preparation and Review of Corporate Tax Returns, including Forms 926, 1118, 5471, 5472, 8858, 8990, 8991, 8992, and 8993
- Thorough understanding of corporate income tax compliance and ASC 740 accounting principles
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax, and/or Finance
- Familiarity with UltraTax software preferred
- Ability to work remotely and independently
- Strong organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated leadership and personnel management abilities
- Proficient in project management and analytical skills
- Experience in a startup environment is a plus
Pay Range: $110,000 - $140,000 annually + Bonus
