**The Role**
The E-commerce Photographer at Shoe Palace will support e-commerce initiatives, sales goals, and store marketing efforts. This is an entry-level position reporting to the Website Data Manager.
**Details**
Based on the needs of the project, the photographer will take pictures of people, settings, events, and objects. They will use their artistic and technical skills to create images that speak to SPs brand and values. In addition to taking high-quality images, the photographer will also maintain all camera equipment, including lights, lenses, and tripods. After pictures are complete, the photographer will resize, edit, airbrush, and otherwise enhance images using Photoshop or other photo editing software.
**This is what a day at work may be like**
* Build, update, and edit product headers and descriptions according to established guidelines, with attention to serving the customer's interest
* Communicate what SP is about through photography
* Maintain communication with buying team on incoming merchandise, inventory levels, and online availability
* Assist Marketing Department with campaign photography, as needed
* Provide support to the e-commerce development and design team
* Assist with web content refresh, as needed
**About you**
* Broad working knowledge of Photoshop and DSLR Photography
* Responsible, go-getter that pays close attention to details
* Creative aesthetic is your passion
* Open to change, genuine attitude with high energy
**It would be great but not completely necessary to have**
* Copyediting and/or writing experience a plus
