We’d love for you to become our next  Pulmonary Med/Surg Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Full-time, Weekend Days at our 434-bed regional referral center and tertiary-care facility. We offer a work environment that fosters growth, perfect for a nurse looking to move into inpatient care or for an experienced nurse looking to make a change.  Schedule: 6:30a-7p, Saturday, Sunday, and one day during the week. Responsibilities

• Functions under supervision of RN Team Leader and performs delegated tasks, serving as a care partner to RN/Team Leader. 
• Tasks performed are in compliance with department and hospital policies and procedures and within education preparation as well as Alabama Nurse Practice Act.
• Participates in the implementation and evaluation of patient care.
• Ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and perform a variety of tasks. 
• High school diploma and certification as a licensed practical nurse.
• Associates degree in Nursing and basic life support required.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
