TO : All Kettering City School District locations and outside locations as designated by the Assistant Superintendent of Human Capital.

POSITION : MIDDLE SCHOOL PRINCIPAL

Effective 2024-25 School Year

LOCATION : VAN BUREN MIDDLE SCHOOL

GENERAL INFORMATION : This is a 10-1/2 month contract, 220 days.


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES, Partial List :

1. Directs and supervises all building personnel.
2. Serves as building instructional leader.
3. Assists with major student discipline issues.
4. Supervises building operations.
5. Develops building policies.
6. Reviews all grading procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS, Partial List :

1. Valid Ohio principal's license and must pass criminal background checks.
2. Child centered and possess outstanding character.
3. Collaboration and problem solving skills.
4. Data driven decision maker.
5. Skilled at community and staff engagement.
6. Universal educator - familiar with RTI, PBIS and OTES.

SALARY: According to the approved Teacher Salary Schedule.
