ON-Call Coffee Barista!

Must be flexible to work on an as-needed basis.

Schedule: Day ranges from M-F

Time: 8 am to 4 pm

Term: 3-4 months, possibly ongoing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 2-3 years of current coffee-making experience, and working in a coffee shop
• 2-3 years of knowledge and a good understanding of coffee and know how to check all components of coffee beverages for quality, identify properly brewed coffee and espresso, dial in drip coffee and espresso, foam milk correctly, and experience with all coffee specs.

JOB OVERVIEW

1. Maintain a clean, stocked station during service while efficiently making beverages. Establishes effective and positive communication amongst all team members.
2. • Maintains a clean, organized and stocked environment.
3. • Performs all POS duties, front and back of house functions including opening and closing procedures, coordinating with the Corporate Office as necessary.
4. • Ability to read, write, and comprehend standard English.
5. • Ability to work in a standing position for a long period of time; stretch, bend, walk, stoop and reach repetitively.
6. • Ability to work in hot, cold, and or wet areas, lift up to 40 lbs., push loaded carts weighing up to 100 lbs.
7. • Ability to conform to dress code and prescribed safety, sanitation and food handling practices and procedures.
8. • Must have safe food handling practices and good personal grooming habits.
9. • Ability to adjust to fluctuating workload and adhere to work schedules.
10. • Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with co-workers, customers, supervisors and managers.
11. • Other duties as assigned.
