What You’ll Do:

As our Operations Manager, you’ll take charge of key functions in our distribution center during your shift. You’ll be the go-to person for ensuring our eCommerce operations run like a well-oiled machine, all while keeping an eye on efficiency and costs. Here are some of your key responsibilities:

  • Lead our production, quality processes, and transportation, making sure we hit our profitability goals.
  • Coach and support our Operations Supervisors and team members to help them shine.
  • Keep morale high and retention rates even higher—happy teams are productive teams!
  • Communicate regularly with your team through meetings and updates.
  • Develop weekly plans to ensure we process all customer volumes on time.
  • Suggest improvements to boost our production methods and working conditions.
  • Oversee local transportation operations and ensure safety and compliance.
  • Partner with HR on staffing, evaluations, and employee relations.
  • Monitor quality controls and implement new initiatives to keep us at the top of our game.
  • Keep everything running smoothly by ensuring all equipment meets production standards.
  • Be the liaison with the on-site USPS and stay updated on any regulatory changes.

What You Bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Management or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • At least 5 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong skills in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Lean experience is a plus!
  • A willingness to work overnight shifts and excellent communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and analytical abilities to help overcome challenges and build a cohesive team.

Physical Demands:

You’ll need to be ready to work various shifts based on operational needs, including after-hours, weekends, and holidays. The role involves moderate physical activity—standing, walking, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. You’ll be working in a warehouse environment, so be prepared for changing temperatures and some noise.
