Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Plant Manager to join their team on a full-time, direct-hire basis.
Responsibilities:
Lead the performance of the manufacturing site, including construction and ramp-up of the facility.
Establish a world-class operations culture of respect and accountability.
Set and meet annual budget targets for key performance indicators, detailed metrics, and department goals.
Manage overall planning, staffing, and coordination requirements to support corporate objectives.
Provide leadership in safety, quality, and productivity improvement.
Oversee the execution of plant construction, ensuring it is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Build and develop the leadership team at the new plant through recruitment and internal transfers
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, preferably mechanical engineering.
Ten or more years of experience in high-volume manufacturing.
Seven or more years of leadership or management experience, preferably as a plant manager or site leader.
Strong background in safety, process improvement, financial management, and team development.
Preferred Qualifications:
Graduate degree or equivalent experience.
Experience in leadership roles within manufacturing environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
