Sales and Marketing Director – Luxury Hotel
Location: Chicago
Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 + Bonus

The Company:

My client is an amazing 4-star hotel in Chicago, known for its historic prestige and excellence service. We are looking for a Sales and Marketing Director who can help take the brand to the next level. Responsible for delivering volume and revenue growth for the business through the development and delivery of compelling products, launched and supported through effective marketing, sales, and PR plans

Sales and Marketing Director Duties:

• Direct and coordinate all marketing and sales functions to create increased desire and commercial impact for attractions/brands
• Research and develop new strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities and generate incremental growth
• Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and sales methods and results
• Develop and manage annual sales/marketing plans and budgets
• Establish and implement short-term and long-term goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
• Represent brand at various industry, community, and/or business meetings
• Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors.
• Maintain regular communication and collaboration with key stakeholders in the group; influence decisions with senior teams both internal and external

The ideal Sales and Marketing Director will possess the following qualities:

• 5-7+ years’ experience as a sales and marketing director
• Knows the Chicago market well
• High-end full-service brand experience is a must
• Independent hotel experience is required
• Experience creating and executing a marketing AND Sales Strategy
• Entrepreneurial mentality – ability to build relationships and business.
• Strong leadership and talent management skills, experience successfully leading and developing a strong and growing department or division
• Proven record of building strong relationships with team members, patrons and managers
