Job Description

Hyperquake is an independent strategy and design studio. We build ambitious brands and experiences while leveraging innovative digital marketing expertise to create and execute go-to-market plans for world-changing brands. We are seeking a Social Media Manager to execute campaigns across multiple social media platforms to maximize impact and insights on behalf of our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Help manage end to end Influencer / Creator / Brand Partner campaign.
  • Contribute to cutting-edge, results-driven social media programs on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
  • Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy.
  • Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
  • Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
  • Draft, schedule, & publish content on all social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to create a social media calendar.
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
  • Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
  • Review analytics and create reports on key metrics.
  • Agency experience with client relationships is a huge plus!
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to juggle projects across multiple clients/brands
  • Must be a quick learner who can fearlessly jump into projects with little warning. Has a passion for the work that Hyperquake does that is manifested in a positive attitude, a strong sense of team, enjoying our clients, and in the process having a ton of FUN!
  • Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and management tools
  • Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, digital media, and basic HTML
  • Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
  • Top-notch oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to deadlines and time management
  • Commitment to quality, accuracy, and consistency including adherence to partner and Hyperquake brand standards, with an expert attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to influence and build strategic working relationships with senior clients, peers and vendors.

Experience you will bring

  • Bachelors degree in marketing or a related field
  • 1-3 years experience with B2C social media marketing or content development
  • Direct experience using social media management tools (Hootsuite, Meltwater / Klear, Agorapulse, Canva, Unum, etc)
  • Experience with Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, etc)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools a plus
