Your Job:

Responsible for supervising and training phlebotomy staff, processors and students as they collect and process specimens from patients, and assume responsibility for patient safety and comfort by following established standards and practices.

Your Job Requirements:

•Must have an Associate degree from an accredited school with 24 hours of applicable science courses. Foreign education must be evaluated for equivalence to United States education standards by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) or Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA) or College of American Pathology (CAP) authorizing credentialing agency.

•May substitute six years of phlebotomy experience in both venipuncture and capillary techniques in lieu of specific education and/or experience as stated above.
