Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a  Travel RN - CVOR

Shift : Days / 7a-7:30p 12x3, 36 hours per week

Length: 13 weeks

Weekend REQ: On call 2 weekend days (Saturday or Sunday) per 6 weeks
Vascular Call/General Call 8-9 shifts per 6 weeks pre-assigned

Requirements:

• IL License
• Minimum 2 years' experience
• Vascular and ophthalmology experience required
• Vascular call experience
• General OR experience
• BLS
• CNOR preferred
• CVOR & Hybrid OR experience preferred

Other Details:

• Required Equipment/Supplies/Instrumentation Experience: Electrosurgical units, Fiber optic light sources/cords
• Required Surgery Case Experience: Endo/Laparoscopic, General, Ophthalmology, Urology, Vascular
• Required Ophthalmology skills/experience: Cataract extraction/implant, Eye trauma, Glaucoma surgery, Vitrectomy, Scrub Ophthalmology Surgery
• Required Urology skills/experience: Cystoscopy. Trauma amputation experience required
• Required Vascular Skills/Experience: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aortocaval fistula repair, Aortoenteric fistula repair, Arteriovenous fistula repair, Arteriovenous malformation surgery, Atherectomy, Carotid angioplasty, Carotid artery stenting, Carotid Endarterectomy, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Renal artery bypass surgery, Scrub Vascular Surgery, TEVAR (Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair), Vein stripping. Required General Surgery Skills/Experience: Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Colon resection, Hernia repair inguinal/umbilical, Laparoscopic assisted procedures, Scrub General Surgery, Thyroidectomy partial/total
• Ratios: 1:1 for all shifts. 16 rooms, 16 beds
• First-timers accepted
• May float between Cardiovascular Institute for Vascular cases and Main OR for General/Ophthalmology cases
• Charting: Epic

Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? May float between Cardiovascular Institute for Vascular cases and Main OR for General/Ophthalmology cases

Open to accommodating block schedule? No.

Locals accepted: Yes- no radius.

Pending License accepted: No- must have active IL license to apply.

Guaranteed Hours: Client may cancel (call off) 1 shift per calendar month without paying for the cancelled hours. The cancelled shift must be the regular shift length to which the Candidate is assigned (i.e. Client cannot break down the shift cancellation into smaller increments).

Special Requirements: Vascular and ophthalmology experience required. Vascular call experience required. General OR experience required. CVOR & Hybrid OR experience preferred. Required Professional Knowledge and Skills: Administration of blood products, Cardiac Monitoring, Infection control, Laser safety, Radiation safety, Specimen handling/labeling, Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedure.

Weekly gross pay based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to travel positions only (50+ miles from permanent address).
